SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR A BETTER SOCIETY

As a part of Social awareness program RDF kalleda School students organized “ the probation of liquor rally ”.

Students of class VI to X participated in the rally to enlighten people for a non alcoholic society. They shouted slogans  “Shun liquor – live better”   and delivered speeches in the surrounding villages. Seeing the students, some of the villagers also participated in the rally and supported the cause. Students also explained to the villagers, the effect on health by taking liquor , tobacco, gutka. Due to this addiction the family also looses the health and become economically weak resulting in death.  The villagers realized their responsibility and supported the students.

Experience the joy of giving

Rural Development Foundation is a voluntary organization. It continues to support and give high quality education to underprivileged children of rural India. RDF supports four schools and one Junior college in two districts of Telengana. Due to the selfless efforts of RDF, the schools together have more than 1700 students enrolled in them. Youth for Seva has given its helping hand to RDF. They have donated school bags to the students. Each bag contained note books, pens, water bottle, stickers, dictionary, etc., we encourage students and parents to motivate others and lend their support to help each other to make a better future.

We convey our heartfelt thanks to Youth For Seva for their generous donation.

Rural Development Foundation is a voluntary organization. It continues to support and give high quality education to underprivileged children of rural India. RDF supports four schools and one Junior college in two districts of Telengana. Due to the selfless efforts of RDF, the schools together have more than 1700 students enrolled in them. RDF provides note books, text books, 2 uniforms and midday meal to the students. Also it supports Alumni by providing financial help in their further studies and training.

Youth for Seva has given its helping hand to RDF. YfS has donated school bags to the students. Each bag contained note books, pens, water bottle, stickers, dictionary, etc., we encourage students and Parents to motivate others and lend their support to help each other to make a better future.

We convey our heartfelt thanks to Youth for Seva for their generous donation.

Season of Awareness

RDF Kalleda School students motivated villagers about awareness on seasonal diseases.  High School students went to the Primary Health Centre in Parvathagiri and gathered information on seasonal diseases and prevention  from P.H.C doctors.  Then the students conducted  a meeting in school and discussed their experiences with the doctors.  Thereafter, the students conducted a rally to make villagers aware about seasonal diseases. Together, they cleaned streets and dirty areas – an effort appreciated by the community.

Dignity of Labour

Summer holidays certainly mean fun and for RDF children, it is also a time to learn valuable skills. Children help the community by harvesting and packing mangoes from the mango orchards. This teaches them essential values like dignity of labour and understand the hard work undertaken by their parents to fulfil their primary needs. In the process, they learn skills like farming, harvesting, packaging and sales! They do this with joy and parents feel proud and happy to receive this support too. They learn that every contribution counts and learn to live with dignity.
