 Other ways to donate

If you have enquiries about, or are interested in getting involved with RDF by any of the methods described below, please email us at development@rdfindia.org.

In – Kind Donations
We truly believe that your trash is our treasure and we find ways to re-use and recycle everything possible. For instance, instead of tossing out its used paper, one company saved it for six months and gave it to RDF. That supply lasted the schools six years!
If you have furniture, computers, books, or anything else that is usable, we would welcome the gift. In addition to products, we are always looking for the donation of services. Whether a teacher-training course or one-day medical check-ups, if you or your company is willing to donate a service to our schools please check our Wishlist for ideas and get in touch.

Some of our In- kind donors are Mrs. G. Hima Bindu – old clothes, Mrs. Gouri – old clothes, Hindi Milap – notebooks & one sided papers, Ms. Karuna – old items, Mrs. Lakshmi Reddy – used stationery items, M/S Mass Enterprises – stationery items, M/S Penz Solutions – stationery items, Oakridge International School – library books, Mrs. Radha – musical items, cosmetics, clothes, linen, stationery items & books, Sarvesh Gupta & Mr. Kamlesh, The Global Edge School – stationery, WOW- Note books., DAV- Stationary, cloths and note books, Oakridge School- stationery , Youth for Seva.

Corporate Funding
We are always looking for more partners in the corporate world. We would welcome introductions to companies who may be interested in assisting our work. If you have contacts that you would like to share with us, please let us know. We’re happy to show you how RDF works, or we can come to your office and talk with your staff.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Matching Programs

CSR is an increasingly important aspect of companies today. RDF values our connections with CSR groups and the benefits they bring to us via volunteers and funding. We are eager to expand these partnerships to include more companies, so please contact us if your company has a CSR group that may be interested.
Many companies have corporate matching programs that allow employees to choose organizations to donate money to, the amount of which is then matched by the company itself. If your company has a matching program, please contact us for information on how to help RDF become a choice for employees of your company. Please contact us at development@rdfindia.org

Drives

Fundraising drives are a great way to get your school or office involved in helping the community. If you are interested in holding a drive for books, school supplies, office supplies, etc., please contact us at development@rdfindia.org. We will provide you with the necessary promotional material about the organization and will arrange for pickup of the items.

Sponsorships

It costs approximately Rs 10,000 a year to educate a child — approximately $150 USD or €105. Choosing to sponsor a child, class, or project allows you to clearly see the direct effects of your donation. If you sponsor a child or class you will be sent regular updates regarding their progress. If you sponsor a project you will also be kept updated and even be able to visit and see the fruits of your donation first hand.
