Life Members – Life Members – Any resident Indian (or a Person of Indian Origin as defined by the External Affairs Ministry) who pays over a period of time a sum of Rs. 5,00,000, ($10,000 USD) or Non-Resident Indian who pays US$ 20,000 and whose application for membership as a life member is accepted by the Board of Directors.

Patron Members – These are individuals whom the Board of Directors (Executive Committee) consider to be eminent in fields that match RDF’s objectives and also individuals that offer infrastructure on lease or as a gift to the RDF. Patron Members serve a term of two years, after which they are categorized as an Honorary Member. Patron Members serving on the Board as a Director or seeking re-election as a Director also serve a term of two years with each re-election.
